Hand Blender Review
Before You Buy A Hand Blender Take A Look At Our Hand Blender Reviews
There are hundreds of kitchen tools on the market, some that are ridiculous, some that are too expensive, and some that you actually need! One of the kitchen tools that are necessary in the kitchen is a hand blender. Don’t get this confused with a hand mixer. While both can be used to blend or mix foods, there is a great difference between the two.
A hand mixer generally has two beaters and is larger, a hand blender has a slim shaft with a blade on the end. A hand blender can be used in pitchers, pots, bowls, and even some glasses while a hand mixer can only be used with larger containers. A hand blender has a lot of versatility in the kitchen. Often times it will come with whisk and/or chopper attachments that make it easier to perform many tasks in the kitchen with the same tool.
Advantages Of Hand Blenders
A hand blender is also different from a conventional blender. The fact that it is much smaller and slimmer makes it easy to mix things up right in the container they are in. A large blender must have ingredients poured into it and it has a pitcher that sets on a base. While a regular, large blender is usually able to chop up ice, it is generally recommended for most models that you do not use it to chop up ice because while the motor is still powerful and the blade is still sharp, the blade is also much smaller.
This is another advantage of hand blenders versus larger blenders, it is easy to blend smaller amounts. Since the hand blender has blades at the very bottom, it is easy to blend things in pots or pans. This means that when you make small amounts of ingredients you won’t be losing part of the food in the blender or on the countertop while you’re pouring it into a larger blender.

Purchasing A Hand Blender
In most cases, purchasing a hand blender is a better value than purchasing a conventional blender or another type of mixer. For one thing, hand blenders are quite reasonably priced, ranging from thirty dollars to close to two hundred dollars in some cases. The price variance depends upon the company, the attachments, the various speeds, and the quality of the product. Hand blenders are also a better value because often times they come with chopper and whisk attachments. The whisk will take the place of a mixer while the chopper eliminates the need of a regular blender or a food processor. The fact that the hand blender is so versatile means that you get a better product for your hard-earned dollars.
